The artist moms of The Iron Brush Mural Company, Cara Brown and Cynthia Wallace, completed their latest outdoor creation in late July, and the colorful artwork quickly became a popular photo backdrop near downtown Murfreesboro.

Murals are finding their way on buildings all over Rutherford County. Unheard of locally until recent years, murals are something of a long-standing staple on both coasts While the mural craze hit downtown Nashville in 2016, it just reached downtown Murfreesboro last year.

Owners Cynthia Wallace and Cara Brown have been commissioned throughout middle Tennessee to revitalize boring, blank walls into works of art. The ladies recently donated a mural to the good people at Feed America First - helping transform an area in their warehouse into a whimsical, happy place.
